After 40 years in the corporate world, I started fiddling with different spice blends after moving back to Maine. After a lot of near misses, I came up with a flavor that combines barbecue with flavors from Maine. Blending this on my kitchen island, DownEast Dinnah Dust and Bub 'n Mutha's Gourmet Dry Rubs were born. That whole first year we might have sold 200 bottles worldwide. Today we service over 250 retail locations, have multiple awards, 3 teeams that we sponsor who have all won RGC's in 3 different states.
