Iowa born & raised and BBQ obsessed! I opened Warehouse Barbecue Co. & Brewhouse in Ottumwa, IA in 2018 and we've quickly become one of the most sought after BBQ spots in Iowa. We won the Iowa Pork Producer's Pulled Pork Madness Best Pulled Pork contest in 2019 as well as other various awards for sauces, special dishes etc. In 2020 I opened the Iowa BBQ Store w/ Sam Heinrichs. The Iowa BBQ Store is a brick n mortar & e-commerce BBQ supply store located right across the street from Warehouse Barbecue. Myself and Sam have competed as DartyQ since 2020. In 2021 we nailed our first GC and earned a trip to the American Royal Invitational and the KCBS World Invitational where we finished 6th and 9th in the world in pork. If I'm not at Warehouse or the Iowa BBQ Store you can find me cooking and entertaining with my wife, Brooke and my son, Huck, at Ware Ranch. Our goal is to build a BBQ retreat at our Ranch in the next few years.
