General Purpose
To provide every guest the warmest and most memorable Sonnys experiences through managing the people that make it happen.
Essential Duties (may include, but not limited to:
- Our managers Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit as defined by the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and current operations plan. They also focus on ensuring that our guests get that one of a kind experience that they have come to know and expect at each and every Sonnys location. More specifically General Managers:
- Lead the process to hire, train and develop, schedule, and evaluate managers and hourly team members in his/her store.
- Ensure that our restaurants have a professional, welcoming and engaging atmosphere for both guests and team members.
- Be the point person to address the individual needs and concerns of our managers and team members.
- Provide clear benchmarks and expectations to hourly team members and managers so that each shift runs smoothly.
- Oversee and ensure all manager and hourly team members performance is meeting company expectations through constant leadership, follow-up, and communication.
- Implement progressive discipline process to address performance opportunities.
- Respond to immediate store needs.
- Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable experience.
- Execute all operations policies, procedures, and programs within the store.
- Report information to Area Director through plans of action, AORs, goals, etc.
- Work consistently to ensure all the high priorities identified for his/her store are aligned and consistently focused on.

Required Skills and Experience
- At least five years related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Solid reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Proven business knowledge, leadership, and success as a General Manager in the restaurant industry is a necessity for this role.
- String computer skills are needed, including experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Managers may be exposed to temperatures between 0F and 100F. As a Manager, you must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job for up to a 12-hour shift.
