Apprentice Program

Learn the barbecue business from the best! If you’ve ever thought about opening your own BBQ joint or catering company, now is the time to find out what it really takes. The NBBQA Apprentice Program offers aspiring talent a chance to experience the business of barbecue firsthand. Apprentices will participate in a two to four day immersion at a successful barbecue operation under the guidance of a recognized pitmaster. While the process for making great barbecue will be covered, the program is designed to be much more than that. From dishwashing to bookkeeping, every aspect of running the business will be covered. Here are a few examples of what you can expect to learn:
